Last Friday, April 2, I read an article on the internet about how a stay at home mom in my town was able to make some extra money working from home using the internet and that it cost only $2.97 to get a starter kit.
I filled out the information to get the starter kit, no where did I read that there was an additional charge of $139.95, but that is what they charged me. I went about my business over the Holiday weekend.
Today I received a call from the company to see if I wanted to invest more money for one to one training and they were asking me how much money I made and if I owned a home, etc... I was not comfortable with this questioning and said that I was only interested in checking things out so the phone call ended.
After the call I sat down to read the email that is the "kit" and saw that I was going to be charged the $139.95 so I looked deeper into the sight and they started asking me for checking account information and again I was not comfortable with providing that information.
I then called the Customer Service # that was provided in the email to cancel and was told that the $139.95 was already charged and that there was nothing that they could do and it was unlikely I would be getting the $139.95 back.
$139.95 that I NEVER authorized!
