SCAM software, Total scam software it is a virus used to attack your computer and make you pay for phony software. RIPOFF SCAM ALERT! British Virgin Islands

Total scam, it is a virus.

DefenceLab When You Can't Spell 'Defense' Right, You Should Probably Be Suspicious

DefenceLab supposedly detects and removes malware and other threats from your PC, but it is all a scam. This rogue security program is an infection, and works like other spyware applications. It advertises constantly through fake system notifications and security alerts, in an attempt to convince you that parasites are invading your PC. Fake online scanners supposedly detect these parasites, but the results are made up.

DefenceLab bombards you with security warnings, and claims that it will detect the parasites that are on your PC, then remove them. It is not until after the fake scan completes and threats are detected that you are notified that you have to pay for the full version of DefenceLab in order to remove these infections. Keep your money this rogue has no ability to detect or remove anything at all. It is a hoax, like thousands of others out there.

Where spyware comes from
How does spyware get placed on your PC? There are a number of ways. You won't realize it when it actually installs, but you will know it soon after. DefenceLab may invade your system when you visit malicious websites; it may also install when you download other programs. Freeware, games and videos are common sources of malware. P2P networks are another way you may become infected.

Usual symptoms of DefenceLab
DefenceLab produces several symptoms that are hard to ignore. If your PC becomes unusually slow or unstable, or if you start getting slammed with pop-up ads and security warnings, you may have malware. Your home page may be changed, or you might notice new icons in your system tray. Your browser may send you to strange or unfamiliar websites as well.

Dangers of malware
While malware may do nothing worse than annoy you, it can be very dangerous. Your online activities may be tracked, and private information accessed as well. The searches you perform and websites you visit may be collected, as well as passwords and sensitive online business account information. This may all be sent to third parties.in extreme situations, your PC may crash; your personal identity may be at risk as well.

When you suspect that spyware has been placed on your PC, you should remove it at once. Manual removal is possible, but definitely not advised unless you are very experienced in the process. Damage to your PC may occur if not removed correctly.
