The so-called company EmTec Logistics posted a job position for virtual administrative assistant in Fort Loramie Ohio. This posting was on Ohiomeansjobs.com which is a job site for the unemployed. It offered $20 an hour FT or PT and listed a Hiring Manager by the name of William Blair to which resumes were to go to. It also listed the link emteclogistics.com as their website. I always look into online jobs before I apply and their site has paragraphs that were not capitalized like the rest, and the address they listed brought up a different company that only had a picture on the website. So, the company site says they are in Humble, TX but the job offer was for Fort Loramie, OH. I called 411 and they did not have a listing for a company named EmTec Logistics in Ohio at all. So I found a link that listed customer reviews (sitejabber.com) that involved this company and there were two. The first one was from a male that said he was called for the "virtual administrative assistant" and worked for them for two weeks. When his check was MAILED to him, it was for three times the amount it should have been. He took it to the bank and they told him it was fraudulent. So, they got two weeks of work out of him and took off. The second person stated that the company was a scam, that the job posting in their state said the Hiring Manager was Frank Davidson. So this company is using different names in different areas and trying to get people to give them their information and work for them and then they take off without paying!!
