I was told I could have a free 30 day trial of Oxiderm-pcf skin care system. I would pay $9.95 for shipping and handling, and if I liked it, I could become a lifetime member for $229.00 which was a one time fee then I would pay only $29.95 every 3 months when I would get my shipment (3 month supply) otherwise, the cost for each shipment would be $80.00. So of course I said oh, definately, give me the membership. So they said they would wait for 30 days, then charge my AMEX card but that I would be BILLED every 3 months when I got my shipment. What a crock!!!
To be perfectly blunt, they were so smooth, I didn't even feel myself bending over and grabbing my ankles if you all know what I mean. So, the kit came which included an exfoliating cleanser, a toner, a lotion, and specifically blended herb capsules that also helped work on blemishes or acne from the inside.
I started using it and to my suprise it really worked great! It was the first thing I ever tried that kept my face blemish free, and cleared up any and all blemishes that I already had in no time. I WAS THRILLED!!! I loved it! It actually worked so well that i stopped feeling like i had to wear foundation makeup! Well, then in the first month, the cleanser ran out, so I called the number they gave, and wanted to order a kit before the 3 month shipment was due, and they told me it would be $80.00 so luckily I decided that was too steep and I'd just wait. They also told me my next shipment was due early to early-mid September, well guess what, IT NEVER CAME.
When I checked my credit card statement, sure enough, they charged my AMEX card on September 2 for $29.95, I recieved nothing. I feel very fortunate, that AMEX is a very reputable credit card company, they checked their system, and low and behold, they found other fraudulent charge complaints from other customers and they had Turley-Thompson flagged in their system. So they said they would refund the charge of $29.95 that they charged without my knowledge or consent.
When I tried to call the toll free number on the box my first shipment came in, again, it was busy, busy, busy, then a few days later when I tried again, it didn't even ring. I dialed a few times checked the number to make sure I was dialing right, and to my dismay, I DID dial the right number.
So I started doing some research on this company Turley-Thompson, and low and behold, I found other stories just like mine and worse. There were some on there claiming that they sent the product back well within the 30 day limit, and were told the refund would be issued, but never recieved it, there were some that said they were told it was okay for pregnant women, and said they found out it wasn't.
There were some who returned it in the proper time frame of 30 days, were fighting for their refund and were STILL BEING CHARGED $29.95 EVERY 3 MONTHS!!! Some have had to cancel or change debit cards and credit cards because of the continuous charges every 3 months.
I'm not sure what they were told, but I know I was told that I would be billed, because I don't like people to have automatic access to bill my credit cards or bank cards, as far as Im concerned, that's just not safe. (i.E. This mess) I believe these people knew the cleanser would run out befor the 90 day period because it was very watery. I believe they counted on people ordering more in between the 3 month shipments.
I believe they that when they talked to me they knew they had another "sucker". I wonder if they actually heard pidgeon noises while I was talking. Im not sure if Im madder that they scammed me or if Im madder that I finally found something that worked and I cant get anymore! I have contacted another law firm about a class action suite, I have also emailed a complaint with the National Consumer Complaint Center.
I have to wonder how many other people have been ripped off by this company and haven't said anything or spoke up about it yet. I read on their site www.oxiderm.com, from a lady in BRAZIL who wanted to know how she could get her hands on some of this stuff.
How many different COUNTRIES have they ripped people off in? I don't know about all you but It absolutely boils the blood in my veins to know someone purposely ripped me off and made a fool out of me.
I hope the owner of the company Jason Turley chokes on the food he buys with my money! Well this is my story! Sad but true! It's a shame what the almighty dollar monger can do to unsuspecting, trusting, people. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET THIS STORY OUT AND OTHERS LIKE MINE TO OTHER INNOCENT PEOPLE.
We need to bring these rip-off artists down!!! Thank you for your time.
