Aol/rip-off taking money from credit card / tried there free service fairbanks, alaska even the last frontier is not immune!
Aol was taking money from my daughters credit card for three months after she had called them to stop the service. She was doing a regular check of her credit card and found out that they were taking the money out. She had stopped the service six months earlier. They gave her the same spiel about no confirmation and no refund. I don't know how a company this big can get away with this.
I know one thing that could be done. These big companies like abc, cbs, etc. Talk shows like oprah winfrey, montel williams etc. All the late nights shows. All these entities have one thing in common!!! (aol) these companies pay big bucks to have aol.
If you notice when they give out there e-mail addresses, they all say keyword... People like oprah winfrey and others like them need to be made aware of what a ripoff aol is. Probably already know but don't care.
Well we can make them care by making them aware that as consumers of there products they should help facilitate in breaking this scam wide open. Oprah is always talking about helping people. Lets see if she really means it.
If we can make these entities aware of the problem, we can put aol out of business. You see aol stays alive by scamming the little people who may not be able to fight back.
You got to get aol where it hurts by letting these multi-billion dollar corporations blow them clean out of the water. We can't keep talking about it lets do it.
First start a petition, second contact your local congressman, third start e-mailing oprah, montel, abc, nbc, cbs, etc. We can fight back. If we don't people will lose more then there temper. They will lose there dignity. Please contact me through this site. We can litrerally blow up there mailbox
