Www.monster.ca Monster.com Monster.ca bans innocent users from it's site while allowing abusive users to stay. If you get banned and ask to be re-instated, you are ignored.internet

I have been a loyal monster.ca user a long time now.

Like many people, I have used their message board and like many others, I have seen arguments and flame wars and other stuff that happenes on almost every message board.

Unfortunatly, the level of arguing and 'flamming' that happens on the monster.ca board has been beyond a simple annoyance and has been this way for YEARS now.

I am one of several members that has spoken against the lack of moderation on their message board (url http://forums. En. Monster.ca/forum.Asp? Forum=904) and have had to tolerate abuse from several other users of the board.

I had pretty much resigned myself to the lack of moderation on the board until the abusve got so bad that the forum has nothing but flames.

I along with several others spoke out against the flame wars.

The result? I attempt to log on monday morning (9/15) to find my account 'tempararily disabled'. I was given no explantion, no warning, and multiple attempts asking them why I was banned resulted in nothing.

It has now been over a week and the account is still locked out. I was able to get access to the board by creating a new account but my resume on the other account is still locked out (something that could cost me a job if I'm hired and cannot access it to deactivate it)

The abusive users are still posting, and despite continued abuse from them, they continue to post as if nothing is happening.

I have on multiple occasions sugested fixes for the abuse and nothing has happened, I was made a temp moderator at one point and really helped to clean up the board (they never thanked for this in any way), I have submitted MULTIPLE bug reports about the board that were allowing users to imitate other users (a seriosu problem on the board. When I figured out how the imitators were doing it, I told monster and they fixed so the problem was solved, again they never thanked me)

And yet, despite my loyalty to monster.ca and assistance to the site, this is how I am treated, this is unbelievable and I want my account re-instated.

It's sickening when someone that is the victim of the abuse is punished yet the abusers continue to get off scott free and continue to abuse. This type of thing casts a very negative shadow on monster.ca.
