I have received some information from the Office of The Attorney General Of New Jersey that will be of value.
As you know, Alyon is required, in certain circumstances, to pay restitution to consumers WHO HAVE FILED WRITTEN COMPLAINTS TO ALYON AND THE FTC AND TO THOSE WHO DO SO IN THE NINETY DAYS FOLLOWING JUDGE STORY'S JULY 10TH DECISION. Note that, although you may have already filed a complaint, it may not be enough. To participate in the complaint resolution as established by the Federal Court, you MUST refile as indicated by the FTC's press release. I know it seems bureaucratic, but that is what the Federal Court wants. Check out the FTC site for more information.
THe 90 days is running out. You must file during that time. The FTC, bless them, has recently filed a motion for reconsideration of the court's order limiting the period for requesting restitution, but the outcome of that motion will not be known for several weeks.
Some states (and bless them too) have served subpoenas to Alyon asking for the company's records of complaints. The AG's are apparently contacting the complainants and advising what options are available.
Court cases should be starting soon.
