Ripp off by virtual address company grapchcard

To say ripp off would be putting it mildly when it comes to what this company has done not only to me but so many others. This company promised to give a virtual address to its customers as well as other online services which include but are not limited to fund transfer, online shopping, maintaining online addresses, etc.

Initiallly when i started with them i only bought virtual debit cards from them, but as time went on i realised these cards could not be used online even as i was promised it could be used online to shop from merchants. I was then informed by their customer service unit i had to call to make the orders as the cards could not be accepted if my IP address when i make the orders does not show its from the USA.

This company promised to deliver any package i ordered with them to me in Lagos, Nigeria 2 weeks after the item is delivered to them. I tried them out for the 1st time and was amazed when it took 3 months for my package to get to me.

Infact i had to pick the package up because there was an error on my address that made the delivery fail. All this was in Q3 2008. I stopped using that service, only for the virtual card i buy from them to be declined in february.

I contacted them but they did not tell me what was the issue, until i reported to their agent who informed me that the company was having issues with their bank and i had to exercise paitience. So my money $240 or so was stuck in a card i could not use. As i had funds in my account with them, their agent advised me to use their personal shopper, i told her of my past experiences but she assured me that incident was a one off. So i told them to purchase a polo top from rugby.com for me.

I was charged and told when the product was deliverd to them, i then reminded them of my money that was stuck in their card and that it would be crazy for me to upload more money. The agent assured me i would be informed of the next shipment and how much i had to pay for it to get to me.

I kept on calling about my money, it was finally resolved after 2 months. When i got my money back i used part of it and then left some for my delivery charges, only for them to tell me the amount had to be more. I paid it after a week or so, but still my package was not delivered to me. I kept calling their Nigerian agent after i realised their customer service does not function and their phone nos do not get through.

The agent kept following it up. I asked where was my package and they informed me it was intact and would come with the next batch, they kept saying the same story from june till december.

Only for me to tell the agent i wanted a refund, i had spent more money calling them than the cost of the package they bought on my behalf. She promised to send them a mail which she copied me all the time. To my suprise the personal shopper manager who had been telling me my package was intact and coming with the next package, now said my package had been given out to charity after investigation.

I was flabbergasted because i knew all along the package had been misplaced, but they said they could only guarantee my package after a month and i was told to upload my account with funds and i did not so they gave my package out to charity.

I was too numb to reply, so i decided i had to file an official complaint where it would matter as i am in Lagos, Nigeria and there is no office to complain.

I just need to paste this complaint for others to beware of such imcompetent companies maquerading as genuine business organizations. Their office telephone nos do not go through all the time and emails are not replied until after a week or their agent writes them.

Its a terrible company to ever have anything with, GRAPHCARD SHOULD BE AVOIDED LIKE A PLAGUE, ITS A TERRIBLE WAY OF HOW AN ONLINE SERVICE COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE RUN
