I signed up for a 99cent one day trial for a video download service at ZML.com. I was suspicious because the site showed the MASTERCARD SECURECARD logo, but did not take me through their authorisation process. I phoned my credit card provider and discovered that GBP35.68 had been immediately charged to my credit card without my authorisation. It was lucky I checked as the website terms and conditions states that refunds will not be made after 48 hours or if you have made use of their services (i.E. Downloaded a movie). Nowhere during the signup process was mention made of any charge in excess of the 99cents nor any commitment to any ongoing subscription. What is the point of having a one day trial to test the quality of service if the user is automatically made a subscriber from day one? I sent a request for a refund via the support form on the ZML.com website and received a reply with a link to a complaint ticket at IN2VIDEO.
