Taken payment but not received product

I purchased a pair of boots for my step daughters Christmas present on 3rd December 09. After a week of not hearing anything other than confirmation of payment I went on the website to track my parcel. I was told to go onto USPS website which I did but it didn't recognise my tracking number so I contacted uggsalea.com by email as I discovered they do not have any contact numbers on their site.
They emailed back with the tracking number and wished me luck in receiving my parcel before Christmas.
A few days later I went back on USPS website and re-entered the tracking number, again not recognised. I called USPS (from the UK) and they said the number didn't exist.
Since then I have done some internet searches on this company and it looks as though most people don't even receive anything let alone get sent fake uggs. I have emailed again and will wait to see if they reply again. I just want my money back. I've worked hard to save for Christmas presents for my daughter and step daughter and find it so upsetting to think that someone has just taken that from me.
Tell tale sign should've been when it wouldn't accept credit card details so I ended up paying by debit card. Probably would've had to give the money back to me if I'd paid with credit card.
