Unauthorized billing, refusal to reverse charges

My wife was doing the bills and asked me about this charge. We called the associated number and they swore that I had signed up for their 800 voice mail service. I didn't, and had them cancel it immediately. They refused to reverse the charges which had already been made (fortunately, only two months worth).

When I called the company directly and explained why I was calling, Melinda (the operator) put me on hold, came back on, gave me their email address and wouldn't answer any other questions.

They pulled this same scam back in August through one of their other services. I can see from a search that they're under investigation and facing class action lawsuits. What do we have to do to stop them?
