Arena Net, NCsoft Plaync stuff ripped off my items that worth more than 1000$

I have a Guild Wars account since 2003 and 3 months ago I went to a business trip for 2 months and I didn't have internet there so I didn't do a single log in to the game, when I cam back home I tried to log in but my account was closed for selling in game money for in real cash and the MSG I got told me that this action is permanent.

I have contacted thier customer support and finally they unblokced it, but it came with nothing. No items, no gold JUST NOTHING. Knowing that the items I have in my account worth more than 1,000$ if I sold it to gold sellers beside my account worth more than 450$ as I payed for every expansion.

Anyway after several e-mails you can find below they refused to give me back my stuff and told me they" don't have access". Well I have many people I know from this game when I told them about this indecent they told me that some of Plaync stuff steal their customers items when they find them offline for a long time and sell them for real cash after selling all the items plus the gold, good way to earn some extra cash and 1 year before it happened with someone in my guild and I didn't believe him thought he made it up and the guys quite the game. So be careful from those plaync guys they are all about ripping people off they said many blaah about me having a key logger and someone guessed my password knowing that my password for Guild wars is unique and am a Network Engineer for a multinational respected company they wont keep hiring me if I can't keep the security for personal PC up. And I sent Plaync the proof that am not an end user to get dumped by key loggers and they ignored this fact and just told me "we don't have tools to help". So be careful of what you are paying for. Their games are great but they are bunch of thieves.

And this is a copy of the Email conversation. You can read from the button to up

As previously indicated, we cannot retrieve the items for you. I would love to return the items to you, but I have no tools that would allow me to do so.

The Guild Wars Support Team Customer (Bassem Salib) 11/17 02:29 PM Hello GM *Lemoncobra
Am very thankful of your time and efforts, really appreciate it, but am
still very sure than the bug not from my side I never use my information on
any random websites and I have more than 25 passwords for every account
I create online and Guild Wars master account and in game account used to
even have different passwords when that happened and it's unique like my
e-mail password is not the same as my online banking account password and so
on, so the password that is used for Guild Wars was only for Guild Wars. I
never share passwords

What I meant that you can trace the trades and get the items back and ban
the person who benefit from it, ban the person who got the gold, ban the
person who sold it and so on.
Maybe rollback the the actions on my account since a specific date? You
don't have that option? ;o

What I mentioned about Plaync stuff/Admins happened before with a guild mate
1 year ago and you didn't provide any help so he quit the game but before he
does he went public and told everyone he knows, when this incident happened
with me many people in game told me that "if am very sure that my PC is
secure and I never shared password, never let anyone on my account so
plaync stuff are only the one who has access to do that" and to be honest
this is the only case scenario that I find logical.

I still have hope that you can get me back my items because if you didn't I
wont have the well to continue playing after I lost my items and gold that
I spent much efforts since 2003 collecting them, I will just publish this
email conversation to my guild website and everyone I know playing any game
that plaync offer. Because this is the last action I can expect from plaync
stuff after being a customer/player since 2003.

Because the only way I can play again my characters in Guild Wars is to buy
gold from dumb websites and I wont do that even if Plaync allow it and I
don't have a grantee that it wont happen again, Plaync really made me lose
trust.

Thanks,
Bassem

Hello,

No, the Guild Wars Support Team does not have any methods by which these items can be returned to you. They were liquidated and sold by the gold sellers.

1. We did not block your account "for no reason." We blocked it because it was being accessed by gold sellers.

2. As previously indicated, the items were not simply traded away. They were sold so the gold sellers could obtain more gold to sell. Sometimes this was to normal players like yourself and sometimes it was to the merchant. No matter the final destination however, the items cannot be retrieved.

3. Yes, we are sure that it wasn't you.

4. If you say that your system is clean, I believe you. This doesn't change the fact that we do not have any tools to get your items back to you.

5. The gold sellers don't care about your credit cards or other accounts. They don't know how to use your other accounts. They only know how to steal from Guild Wars accounts.

6. If you have ever used your Guild Wars account name/e-mail address (bassem. W. [email protected]) and the same password anywhere else on the Internet, that is a point of vulnerability. You may not have given it to anyone directly, but if you've ever typed it in while signing up for something, it was recorded.

7. The time of account inactivity doesn't matter. The gold sellers simply log into accounts. There is no tracking of when the account was last played. It could have been played last year or last night. They don't care. They simply grab the most valuable items and gold and move on to the next account on their list. Also, no NCsoft employee would ever risk their job to steal gold from a customer's account. Not only would they lose their job, but criminal charges would also be filed against them.

8. We do appreciate your past support, but as I stated previously, the Guild Wars Support Team does not have any tools that would allow us to give you items. I want to set you up with weapons and armor and gold again, but I can't.

9. If you wish to pursue other games, that is certainly up to you. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you in the future.

If you have additional questions, please let us know.

Hello Plaync stuff
So my items are lost? And you cannot help me with it although it's not my fault that someone have access to my account and did this and am very sure I don't have any kind of trojans / keylogger / viruses on my PC else you don't know what information than guild wars I provide online but believe me my guild wars account would be the last if someone infected me with a key logger

1st you banned my account for no reason then now my items are lost and you can't help me to retrieve it back?" While am very sure you can"

2nd - I've been playing your game since 2003 almost 6 years now and bought every expansion so of course not after 6 years I will turn to be a gold seller and risk losing my account that I spent 6 years playing it, and you can trace the trades as you did to notice that there was a gold seller on my account.

3rd - You was sure that it wasn't me who did this and sold my items for gold and the proof that you unblocked my account back if you were suspicious I wont be having my account back I guess.

4th - I can send you a full report of any Anti-virus you choose proving that I dont have any kind of trojans / keylogger / viruses if you don't believe me
5th - Also if someone hacked my pc I think he wont leave a platinum credit card alone too that I use almost everyday plus many other business stuff like paypal, ebay, e-gold and Forex accounts that worth much more than my guild wars account. So am very sure that nobody had access to my account through my pc. As am not an end user to get dumped by a keylogger or a trojan I work in IT feild since 1999.

And this is a small proof that am not an end user, please vist www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/transcripts
and provide Transcript ID: xxxxxxxx
Access Code: xxxxxxxxxx

6th - I never give my information to anyone so not after 6 years this will happen one of a sudden.

7th - ONLY someone from plaync stuff/Administrators can see that I was inactive for more than 2 months and my account was full of valuable stuff so he got access to my account and sold my stuff for real money as he/she thought I wont be active anymore and I wont whine about it and he wont get caught, this is only the case scenario that I find logical. Am a senior network admin for a multinational company and I see those information for our customers too.

8th - I really like playing your game in my spare time but if this how it goes am very sorry that I wasted my spare time for 6 years with your "respected" company.

9th - I know you have many many players playing your games, losing one wont matters. But if I didn't get back my items I guess I will go back playing World of War Craft because their stuff at least "care" although they have more population than what you do, however I used to like Guild Wars more and I stopped paying for World of war Craft because I liked your game more.
And that's the link for my character if you don't believe me

Http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet. Xml? R=Stonemaul&n=Mithrander

You will find that my account is inactive because I decided to play Guild wars instated (:

Thanks for your valuable time reading this as I hope I get response asap.

I really appreciate your valuable help with this, I have changed my password and scanned my pc and laptop from any key loggers, I found none
but once I tried to log in to my account I believe that I didn't have one empty slot I had many valuable stuff and alot of cash. I only found junk stuff and only items that my characters could use was there
I was out of the country for 2-3 months I didn't open my account since I got no internet in the place I were in and nobody have access to my Guild wars account
I can't remember how many items I used to have or the amount of in game money but it I have a full store of valuable in game items and ALOT of cash: (.

I don't know this was cause of the block / unblock action of someone did that.
But am very sure that nobody have access to my account am a network administrator for a respected multinational company not an end user so am sure I dont have any viruses or trojans or even keyloggers in my desktop computer or laptop. If you can rollback my account before I enter the guild am in now because that was the last time I was playing my account I entered this guild and went on a business trip, I would be glad if you can do that.

Thanks for your great assist

Hello,

We appreciate your patience during our investigation. Your account was blocked because it was accessed by gold sellers. We recommend that you immediately scan your computer for viruses as this intrusion may have been caused by a keylogger being downloaded onto your computer. Make sure your anti-virus software is up to date before scanning, and then be sure to change the password to your Guild Wars account immediately after.

We have unblocked the account and you should now be able to log in as normal. If you require assistance resetting your NCsoft Master Account password, please let us know.

Here are some tips to help you protect your account and keep your computer secure.

1. Never give your passwords to anyone, including family, friends, or guildmates.

Even if the person is normally trustworthy, you cannot guarantee that they will be following the same strong security precautions that you will follow. Also, there have been occasions when friends have deleted items or characters (often by accident) without the owner's knowledge or permission. If you believe someone may have learned your password, change it right away.

2. Do not re-use the same username and password on other accounts.

For example, if someone learns the e-mail address and password that you use for a certain message board, it will be easy for them to log into your game account if you use the same e-mail address and password. Use different passwords to improve your account security.

3. Do not install third-party software (i.E. Software not created by NCsoft or ArenaNet).

Programs that claim to be item modifiers, cheat programs, or even harmless looking programs such as attribute, skill, or dye calculators might actually contain a harmful virus or keylogger that could allow someone to steal your account information. If you think you have accidentally installed a keylogger on your computer, you should:

A. Obtain anti-virus software, make sure it is updated with the latest files, and scan your system for viruses and key-loggers.
B. Change all the passwords for accounts that you may have accessed after installing the third party software, such as your Guild Wars game account, PlayNC master account, e-mail address account, fansite forum accounts, etc.
C. Never download any untrustworthy programs in the future! Even if you are confident that you can trust the third-party, please use extreme caution. Virus and keylogger creators rely on your trusting nature to help them steal your accounts from you.

4. Please review our Security FAQ at the following URL, which includes additional information for keeping your Guild Wars account secure:
