I contacted exsitementgraphics.com a few years back to start a website for us, design our logo, and tech support (1 year) for our new church. I was charged $5,000.00.
I found it very difficult to work with them. This is partly due to the time difference. (we're on the west coast) However, I also consistently felt like they were in a hurry and couldn't be bothered with my phone call. I was often made aware that I was one of their smaller clients. (although $5,000 is a lot to us)
I was promised several things that were never delivered. (ex: message board)
The finished product was terrible. The logo they created for us looked awful! It couldn't have taken a professional graphic designer longer than 5 minutes. The logo was stale, uninspiring, bland, and predictable. I shortly after, hired a friend who has created a far superior logo for a fraction of the price. I'd be willing to share a pic of the old logo if you are interested. I mean, it is just awful.
The website was also terrible. It looked extremely amateurish, and nothing like the rest of the sites they have displayed on their portfolio. I recieved no more than 3 total hours of training on website editing. (the sum of many hurried 5 minute phone conversations) I have since had a friend update our site and train me on joomla. The site is now very presentable and professional. My friend has also informed me that the going rate for a joomla site with training is no more than $1,000. I was charged 5 times this for a inferior product.
Overall, I feel taken advantage of. It was a very negative experience and I wish I would have done more research on website and logo design before signing a contract with them. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for web services, especially if you are a smaller company or on the west coast.
