I received an offer for employment from this company after I had applied via Craigslist in April. This company has gone to great lengths to appear legitimate. After I said I was interested in the position, they sent me a questionaire to fill out along with I-9, W-4, direct deposit, and expense reports for the position. I sent in copies of confidential documents which was a mistake, even though I had checked out there website and Googled them trying to find something illegitmate I was skeptical the entire time. The company even had BBB stickers on their website. I checked the BBB website however, and there was no report on them. 1st red flag. THey now have all my information and didn't reallize that they were illegitimate until they asked me to let them deposit one of their accounts in my personal bank account to avoid double taxation. This sent off red flags. I have tried to contact them via phone but it goes directly to a message. I have replied via email to them that I would like to speak with someone in person and that I refuse to commingle my personal funds with corporate accounts. To date there has not been any fraudulent activity, but I fear that it is in the near future. Please be aware and avoid making the same mistake i did.
