I ordered a part for my son's airsoft gun from this company on Monday. We recieved the item by Wednesday and by Thursday I had my bank calling me on fraudulent bank activity. I called my bank and found out that luckily my bank caught some fraudulent bank activity that I had no idea about. There was over $600 of withdrawals for internet purchases. I was very fortunate that my bank caught it so fast and closed my bank card down, and also notified the merchants. The deliveries from the purchases was also canceled. I was very surprised, though, that my bank said I had to notify police for the criminal side, and that they told me only after I asked "what happens now?". I called my local police dept. And got an incident # and filed a report, and that was as far as it went with them because they don't have the Man Power to follow up!
So I called the company were the fraudelent charges were charged and found out the Home Entertainement Center that I cant afford was supposed to be shipped to Florida! I called the city and they said I had to call the local sheriff - I figured they would want the lead while it was still hot, $600 isnt alot, but when you add up the probability that they have done this before - it is grand theft. I called the sheriff and they said to call back Monday. Monday I called and after multiple calls no one picked up in the dept. Im calling again today and if anyone is interested I'll post an update.
Today I came across this website and realized they have done this to many people and they must be stopped. I am also going to call the better business bureau. Now I also have to watch my identity as they have my name and address, either from the internet transaction or bad employees. The unfortunate thing is that these people don't care who they hurt, I am unemployed and have four children, not wealthy by any standard, and that the law doesnt seem to care. I even told Florida that maybe I would take up this crime as there seems to be no retribution for these criminals - I was of course, just joking - but a very frustrated mom! BEWARE - Ps this is the first time from all my internet purchases that anything like this has happened - ITS A BAD COMPANY OR EMPLOYEE!!!
