My SA-770 monitor was manufactured in Oct, 1999. It has elaborate adjustments described in the owner's manual, however, they do not work. Adventure games I try to play are in total darkness on this monitor and therefore unplayable. The brightness setting IS NOT ADJUSTABLE.
