I was looking for celeberty pictures. A box poped up and said free pictures so I clicked on it. I said to click if I was over 18 I clicked yes then my computer discontected. I didn't find that strange because my server disconects alot and that day it was. The dail up box can up and I clicked on conection. I went to a porn site for live chat.
I clicked the X and it woldn't let me leave the site. That is when I noticed a connection box at the bottom of my screen I tried to X it out but it wouldn't work either. So about after 5 mins of this I clicked ctrl alt and the del buttons all at the sametime to end the task.
Everything disapeared and that is when I saw a Icon for Alyon. It downloaded onto my computer without me knowing it. It had my home phone number to that I don't know how they got all this information. I called my server who said they couldn't do anything about it I called my phone company plus my credit card company because I pay my phone bill by credit card every month.
I called Alyon the day this happened but got a recording so I e-mailed them telling them what happened then they said I needed my account number I didn't have one because I didn't agree to go with this company so when I got a bill in the mail from Alyon for $49.50 for 10mins of service I never used. I tried calling the company again no real person to talk to I e-mailed them again and gave then the information they sent me on the bill.
Plus I filled a writen dispute with the company telling them what happened and why I'm not paying the bill. I mailed this 3/25/03 and waiting to hear from them. I will fight this because this is so unfair and they need to be stoped I feel as though I was vilated in my own home and for them to find out so much without me giving it to them make me afraid to use the computer at all. Our internet server said there is no way to stop them or other from reading stuff off of our hard drive.
I guess I was stupit and I didn't want to give my information to you either but I figure its out there anyway now so what the hell. I've had nitemares over this and I hope companys like this will be put out of bussiness soon.
