I purchased a CD on How To Succeed In The Music Business for $6.95. I received the CD and it was in poor quality and scratched through-out the disc. I couldn't even listen to it. I thought oh well, I lost $6.95 and knew I would never order anything again from Ty Cohen. A month later my Credit Card was charged $29.99 to Platinum Millennium Publishing. I had no idea why, I contacted Ty Cohen and he informed me that if you read the fine print when you ordered the CD you would become a member and be charged $29.99/month. I told him I want my money back and he did refund my money. I went to his web-site and attempted to delete my CC and email out of his system, but I was not allowed to. Everytime I would delete my CC info and submit it, the page would refresh with my CC info still on the page, and a warning that I cannot leave the page until I had filled in all the proper CC information. I had the same instance while trying to delete my email from his site. I emailed Ty Cohen and told him to take my email and CC out of his system because I do not want his emails (which he sends out 5-10/day) and I do not want to be charged again. He replied back through email that it was taken care.
30 days later my CC was charged $29.99 again to his company. I called and emailed for over a week and Ty has not gotten back to me at all. Call his phone number and he states that someone will get back to you in a 12-24 hour time period. It has now been 12 days and I haven't heard a thing. I had to call my bank and file a claim to get my money back and CANCEL my CC because I do not want more money charged by Ty Cohen. All this for a horrible quality $6.95 CD.
