"Bank Of America"
It's Time for the "UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY" Scam allegedly from Banc America, Because it's not!

It looks official enough — the Banc America logo in red, white and blue on the e-mail I found in my computer mail today.

The problem is I DO NOT HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT anywhere —never habe and never will after what my grandparents told me about the Bank Holiday in the 1930s Depression where so many people lost it all!

That said, the e-mail reads like this:

"We recently have determined that different computers have logged onto your online banking account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us.

"If this is not completed by (red letters following) January 21, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes.

"We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.

"To confirm your Online Banking records click on the following link:

Https://online. Bankofamerica.com/IdentityManagement/

"Thank you for your patience in this matter.

"Bank of America Customer Service "

And on the last two lines in very fine, rather hard to see in light purple ink, it says: "Please do not respond to this email as this is only a notification. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered."

When I clicked on the url, because, after all I have NO ACCOUNT HERE —never have had and NEVER will have and if I DID I SURE AS HELL WOULDN'T PUT IT ON LINE, there is a page which duplicates what a Bank of America Internet Banking sign in mujst look like.

There is a place there for you to input your Online ID and your Passcode.

There are other links on the page and they seem to work for the most part but they are just a diversion from the main event because ONCE THESE SCAMSTERS HAVE YOUR ONLINE ID AND YOUR PASSWORD THEY WILL PROCEED TO LOOT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!

If you think logically, the simplicity of this little scheme works well but there are at least three things that gave it away as a FRAUD to me.

Do not fall for this ruse.

This is a classic email scam and it is back again.

It implies that it is from the bank of america corporate hq but this is not the case!

If you have any doubts, pick up the phone and call your branch of this bank and check with them, go by in person and check with them best of all.
