I joined a website called Crew Bux, you were paid to click on banners.
I paid to upgrade plus purchased 160 referrals.
I had been a member for approx. 4 months, I went to login in one day and received an error that the website no longer existed.
I tried to contact them by email with no reply.
I also contacted Alert pay who is the payment processor I used to purchase
the upgrade and some of the referrals.
I was told by Alert Pay that there was no money in the account and that there was nothing they could do.
I think Alert Pay needs to be held accountable for allowing people to open an account with them and to commit fraud.
As far as I know Crew Bux's account with Alert Pay is still valid allowing them to rip it's member's off and then they probably just opened up another site with a different name and continue to use the same alert pay acct.
I feel that if these websites knew that Alert Pay would close their accounts if they received complaints of fraud from people it wouldn't be so easy for them.
Alert Pay makes money regardless of wether the site turns out to be a scam or not.
There were thousands of members in the Crew Bux site... All of them lost their monmey.
This has to stop.
