I have a similar report as many do: Received a bill for $205.38 for what they claim to be "Adult-premium web content"
Recalling that I had various pop-up screens appear as I researched some information on the net... Unable to remove them, I hear my modem start to dial... Figuring that my call-waiting had "kicked me off-line" I assumed I was simply re-connecting to the net. Later that evening my husband discovered a new icon on our desktop and proceeded to open it... Little did we know that it was connecting to this website again.
Since then we have also received to viruses that can detect our passwords... I am not sure that they are directly related to this event, however with the technology they are using I'm sure it's possible.
I have reported this to the FTC 1-877-FTC-HELP. I have also filed a complaint online to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center: www1. Ifccfbi. Gov. I am going to send a certified letter to Alyon Technologies stating that I did not view or receive any services from them and will NOT be paying the bill I received!
