Complaint / Review
GadTech Systems Inc
David Dickerson SCAM

I was searching for jobs online and found a listing for Gadtech Systems Inc. Looking for someone to fill the vacant position of an account representative to work from home. They were offering $18-$22/hr.

Thinking, this is too good to be true, I forwarded my resume to Karen Curtis at [email protected]. And much like the other report about GadTech, she sent me an email saying that my resume was Under Review and had a list of questions that was required to be answered before I could be approved by management.

They were standard questions. I answered all of them and fired her the email right away. I then received an e-mail from someone completely different (Marlee Mckay) saying, 'I have forwarded your Details to the CEO of GadAbout Fabrics, Mr David Dickerson. This seemed strange to me because I had applied to GadTech Systems Inc. And was now receiving all of my e-mails from GadAbout Fabrics. She proceeded to tell me that he wanted to conduct an online interview with me to discuss more about the job position yet to occupied.

She instructed me to:

Set Up a Screenname with Yahoo Instant Messenger and add up the company screen name: Gadoperations to your buddy list for you to have the interview with him.

If you got any problems please feel free to email back.'

The language was not very professional. Which caught my attention right away, as someone who pays extra attention to proper punctuation and grammar, especially in formal writing. It was signed HR Dept.

Naturally, when preparing for any job interview, you should research the company to which you have applied. This is exactly what I TRIED to do. I couldn't find anything on this company! Nothing! This really made wonder

Nonetheless, I set up everything as instructed and someone Instant Messaged me 6 minutes past our predetermined time. He said Goodmorning to you, message me when your online.' and there was a picture of a dog wearing glasses. I was already online, so that was annoying and made me wonder if that was a computerized response from his end.

Luckily, I stumbled across consumer complaints and read R. G Scams report against GadTech. Exactly everything that had happened to him, was happening to me, right down to the same mistakes in grammar and punctuation I was all lined up to be made a fool.

From the beginning of all of my interactions with these people, there was several red flags; improper grammar/punctuations, changing of company name, different people following up with me (first Karen Curtis, then Marlee Mackay, and lastly David Dickerson& good name for him, as he sure knows how to dick people around!) But the biggest warning of all was reading that report, so after receiving Mr. DICKerson's instant message, I replied back with. I am online, but unfortunately I do not want to proceed with the interview as I have been researching your company and am no longer interested. I logged off, and I am currently sitting here writing this report. Thank-you R. G Scam!

Hopefully this will raise a red flag to more of you job seekers! Remember& If something seems too good to be true, it likely is. Don't be fooled!
