After entering a photo contest at www.photolaureates.org I was notified through email that I was selected as one of the finalists for the top prize of $6,500 for the picture I had sent in.in order to qualify for the grand prize I had to purchase a manuscript for $69 and it would include my picture and biography. I could never find a contact phone number and they would only contact through email.
I was just about to purchase this "book" when I remembered usacomplaints.com and just thought I would check it out. I'm soooo glad I did. There was a report filed by another individual stating this was a scam and that photolaureates had no intentions of sending out any books. The same "congratulations" information they sent me in my email was the same as the one filed on usacomplaints.com.
Please think twice before sending this company ANYTHING!
