Jaded Dreads is a company that sells synthetic hair products and cyber goth accessories. They are notorious for taking people's money and never delivering the product. Communication with this company is terrible, they ignore all forms of contact.

I ordered from them back in September according to their website processing time was 5 weeks. I paid $126 for my hair and shipping. Since then I have only gotten excuses about not having internet (seems to be their favorite excuse). Not having internet access will not prevent you from making and shipping my hair! In December i sent an order inquiry and got an auto response that told me nothing about my order. I later contacted them via PM (private message) on the Heavenly Hair forum several times to request a refund.

My first PM (April) was read but completely ignored. My last PM sent June 19th asking for a refund was responded to: "I am honestly not trying to ignore you or anyone else. I keep trying to strictly focus on the back oldest orders, but as you can see from the review by apollo. People seem to think that no matter what we say or how clear we try to make it that they come first and should take priority to everyone else. Not that I blame anyone for being upset at all. Not by any means!

I would be furious if the situation was reversed. I am truly sorry for all your hassles, we have said over and over again that we do the best we can right now and try to keep up with everyone and everything. It's just toooo much for any 2 people to handle. I will try to compromise and do whatever it is you would like to make you as happy as possible in this messed up position (we put you in!!!). Whether it be a full refund, partial refund and the dreads still, changing colors, sending extra goggles/dreads/products as a free gift or rushing the set and completing the order.

It is entirely up to you, I know we caused this and you shouldn't have to suffer for our issues..." I responded by asking for a refund again but I have yet to see it or receive any further communication. Nobody that I know of was asking for their order to take priority - I certainly wasn't. Most of us just wanted to know the status of our order or get a refund. We are all sick to death of the lack of communication.

$126 is a lot to a poor college student trying to make ends meet and I didn't send it to Jaded Dreads as a gift. I am desperately wanting a refund from this company and I am far from the only one. I am completely sick of the utter bullsh*t this company keeps telling people. They keep taking up more orders than they can handle and they know it - or so they say, yet they don't stop. I just checked the website and look what it says, "Please be advised out turnaround time is currently 5 1/2 weeks or sooner for hair orders. Or sometimes in odd cases later. We may not be the fastest but we are proficient!" Jaded Dreads is only proficient at one thing... Stealing your money! Don't let their sob stories get to you! Stay as far away from this company as possible.

I might also add that while I and who knows how many others were awaiting our orders Jaded Dreads had time to make a rush order wig for another member of the Heavenly Hair Forum. See here:
I do not know if the person ever received the wig and goggles though, as they left the forum.
