I am writing to try to keep everyone from wasting their time in dealing with this company and their website. The website is www.boatsdepot.org and they post would be used boats for sale, however it is a scam and there really are no boats for sale. I responded to 2 different ads for boats that were for sale one was in Albany, NY and the other was Bevery Hills, CA however what I got back was the following email from both would be sellers, just the names were changed but the body of the emails were identical:
Hello,
The boat is in United Kingdom. It's registered in USA and that's why I placed the ad as being from there. It's in perfect condition, it has no kind of problems. Also the trailer is included
The shipping will be about 1300 dollars. It will only take 7 days.
I will send you the boat and I will give you 3 days to test it.
We will use a third party for protection. I am a verified seller by Boatsdepot and a Square Trade member.
You will pay the money to Boatsdepot and they will keep the money until you receive the boat.
I will not have access to the payment info until you decide if you will keep the boat or not.
You will receive an email from Boatsdepot with all the details and you will have to follow their instructions.
If you agree please give me your full name and address and I will start the delivery.

The other thing is while I was waiting on a response I found one of the boats for sale on www.boattrader.com (which is a real site) for $11,000 more than it was posted on boatsdepot.org, same pics and everything. Well I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully save people some time and more importantly money.
