I received an email with an offer for a CD about Ebay and all I had to do was to pay the shipping and handling of $3.87 to receive it.
Apparently, there was small print which I missed. There are 2 additional charges on my credit card of $49.95.
I called when I noticed the charges, but only the 2nd one was removed.
I lost $49.95 to Sellers Lounge. I never used their website.
Buyer beware of this scam.
A rotten way of doing business and a sneaky way to get money from unsuspecting people.
I wondered to the person who took my call this morning how many people who don't check their credit card statements carefully have unknown charges.
When I complained further, she hung up on me.
