I purchased Silent Logger from Secure Tactics on 6/23/08. I read the information, and it seemed like a straight forward install. I was putting the software in a clients business to monitor their employees. I followed the instructions, and utilized their Silent Logger facts page. The software failed to switch from an unregistered state, as it was supposed to do. I looked for a phone number to call, and to no avail. It was a saturday, and I needed to get this finished asap. I received and E mail from Alex. No phone number to call, and a set of instructions for software called Spy Recon. The default codes were different, and this was of no help. Attempted to e mail again. Response guided me to the page I was already utilizing for the install.
Since I had a short window of opportunity, I purchased a good supported legitimate software suite. I then began the process of attempting to get a refund. All I got in response were automated emails from Alex that suggested the same steps. Mind you, I have finished the install of a different product on my clients pcs. I explain this, and get the same email requesting I attempt to install the non functioning software.
As of today 6/30/08, I have got my bank and the Attorney General in Michigan looking into this company. DO NOT buy this software. There is no real time support, and the e mail support is useless. They don't even know what software they sold you.
