In order to access a couple of sites on the internet i was asked for my bank card number in order to verify my age but it was stated quite clearly that I wouldn't be charged anything because the site was free and my account details were for age verification only and no money would be debited from my account. I would not have entered my details if I had been aware I was going to be charged. Upon checking my bank statement I discovered that 3 seperate companies "ccplogistics" "webjtcharge" and "mediavent" have all taken out 2 seperate amounts each from my bank totalling 130:48.
I did not give them permission to debit my account. As things stand at the moment I am awaiting for a disclaimer from my bank and I am eternally optimistic that I will get my money back... How do these companies get away with this???
