Income Tax reporting fraud Sacramento

It's no surprise that a game site which charges a fee to play their games is making money. They wouldn't be there if they lost money!!! You certainly don't go to Las Vegas to win, do you?

They also have a "free" side of the coin, but are constantly pushing you to become a member. I get tired of seeing what percentage of paying players I would have beaten had I been a member. It's never 100% so why would I waste my money on them?

Their "Fair-matching" system is a farce, as you learn when playing for money. Even though I'm ranked at a level 3, the people I'm competing against are level 63 and up. What's fair about that?

The scoring system. According to Worldwinner (members community forum) they have a "cap" on all game's scores. WHAT? It's true. If you happen to acheive a score higher than their "cap" allows, you find yourself disconnected from the internet suddenly or your score fails to show up. Complain all you want to worldwinner, they don't care. Once in a while they may raise a cap, but the average Joe paying not only is unaware of the cap, they are also unaware the a cap has been raised.

Oh, and the member's community forum? Accessible only by premium members. Premium membership is easy to obtain - just spend at least 750 a month at the site and they give you premium membership. Needless to say, I am not a premium member any longer!

I have a basic member account, which I ONLY play the daily free games (and never win, by the way) in which I see the same players winning most of the time. Ok, so I guess that means I'm not very good; I can live with that. However, I cannot live with false IRS reporting by WorldWinner! For 2005 they claimed I won over 30,000 dollars! Not true, but I had no way to prove it. Nothing I could do about that on my taxes (which brought my income up to a point where I had to PAY taxes - the first time in my life!)

That was a painful and costly lesson to learn.

For I tracked my total yearly winnings at 1500 dollars. Considering how much was spent to "earn" that and how many times I withdrew funds (3 times at 200 each time) I thought I did okay for a game site! I anticipated a 1099 with 1500 dollars on it from Worldwinner.

What a shock when I received the 1099 from WorldWinner! They claimed I won over 13,000 dollars and by the way, there is NO way to dispute it, and the IRS won't even talk to you about it. So once again, I'm stuck paying taxes on "income" I did not earn or win.

This year, I'm not playing anything but the daily free games. Once a month I go to my competitions page where it lists all the games you played as well as whether you won or not and the amount you won. So far, all I have are zeros, and I'm going to keep it that way until December 31st! I'm curious to see what worlewinner sends me next February as a 1099.
