Somtime in the fall of 2006 I reseved a phone call from a person representing themselves as a presentation to starting up an home based internet business
I ask that person a female voice that i did have an interest in starting up my own wed site home based business on the internet, and that I was doing a lot of ebay selling and was looking for a way better my Business on the internet. Well conversation went on for a few mintues she told said that she will hook me up with another person that would give the scoop on the home based business. Well she did and know the person was A male voice and very professional talking about how you can make big money doing the internet buisness, and this program is back by BBB. I ask him! What kind of home baed business he was refiring to and he just kept asking me how much time I would be able to put in to succeed in a home based business! I ansewrd as much time that would neccesary to succeed in the business.
Now he stated that I will get all the tools needed to get started with my home based business internet business ihe said the the cost woul be 139.39 per month for a five year contract and insturctional Information to get started and stated that i will have all the professional help I needed to getting started with the home based business.
He said that I will be getting a laptop computer and binder with instructional information.
Well about one week past, I get the Laptop Computer ACER and the Binder full of motivational home work to do. And several motivational talks on starting up a home based business. Well I look it over and thought thought to myself hope there is more help coming.
So I moved on and booted up the laptop Computer it took for ever to load up
there was something wrong with this laptop I called the number that was in the information they sent me for help, the person instructed me to refloor mat the hard drive to fix the problem when I did that I lost some of the data that was there on credit card company Information. I told them that I lost some of the data and they replied not worry about that. That it can be reloaded later. When I needed it.
This ACER TRAVEL MATE is on of the low cost laptops on the market around $600.00 to $800.00 range and it was slower than molassass never seen on go slow. My computer person told me to send back for another one and told me that there was somehting wrong with it, well time went on and all that help that i was told about v[never came no phone calls.
So this is were I stand with Startup Essentials and Laptop that is useless and binder full of motivational BS and A hand in my bank Account for the tune of $139.39 every month And thats it nothing no phone calls asking me about how I was doing with my home based business. Well ok i had it I turned off the bank account so they could not get there 139.39 each month
Well in about a week after the money dried up I get this letter from A-1 Lease stating that I was late on my credit card equip lease!!! I thought what is this about first I herd from them so I called them about the leases and ask the person what this lease was for and they hold me it was for the laptop computer that I was leasing from them. I was a little confused about that.
I thought I was leaseing this laptop from startup Essentials come to find out this whole thing is a big time Scam I signed a contract for a home baesd business I thought! But it turns out that it was for the laptop computer that you could have gone out and bought for around $800.00 at the most. Now no one would do that. A five year contract at 139.39 for five years WOW that comes to over $8000.00 that is crazy and I'm stupid for falling into this one
Now I been getting calls From There Att. Stuart Allan Associates to pay or they will report me to the credit card co. And also calls from other investigative person looking into my financial profile. Enought of this I'm working with a Attorney to look into a class action law suit against startup Essentials and A-1 Lease and who ever else that will fit in. There is something very wrong with this hole deal its just not right to go around and ripping people off. And the internet seems to to the place to do that
I have desided to take them to court so if anyone as a class action law suit started please contact me Know there are over 5000 people that have been scammed this was stated to me from there Attorney Stuart Allan Associtaes
your not the only one that was SCAMMED time to put a stop to this
There Attorney called me and asked if i would make an offer to settle this matter and my reply was I already paid them $2100 and you have the gall to ask for more if any money is owed its should be me they owe and On top of that they have the laptop Sent that back to them at there demand!
So please some one out there lets put these Scamming crooks away...
And be very carful, not to get your self into any internet contract most are scamms
