Darlene Martinez, the owner of the site Scrapin Disney and More is a horrible, horrible business person. I ordered a measly 5 sheets of scrapbook paper from her web site back in October '07. She had no problem cashing my check immediately, but when it came to shipping the order, she only gave empty promises. Very long story short, I went back and forth with her via email numerous times, and her final emails turned very caustic and rude when I requested a shipping address verification and tracking number.
I filed a BBB complaint, to which she did not respond, so that case was closed.in addition, I have contacted Florida's Division of Consumer Services and requested that they investigate the legitimacy of her business, as it appears she is operating without a license and charging Florida sales tax. Now she's trying to hide by changing her mailing address and not updating it on her web site as well as using a domain registration hiding service called Domains by Proxy. A very shady character.
Avoid her at all costs!!! Buy your scrapbook supplies anywhere but from her!!!
