I was alerted by receiving an email 'customer receipt' for $49.90 in 'monthly hosting'. As I had not authorized this payment, I replied to the email. That reply bounced back. I then went to the website and emailed the information email address, with copies to other email addresses listed. I received no reply.
I also called the company. Although the web site appears to have varying categories and contact numbers, they are in fact the same two phone numbers. Both numbers are perpetually 'busy' when you call them.
I then searched for both this Intellipay company and the supposed merchant, "FW EAUCTION". I found the other reports filed here. I tried immediately contacting my bank, but did not get a response as it was Presidents' Day.
The following day I went to my bank and filed a dispute and statement of fraudulent and unauthorized transactions. There were four transactions, not just the one that I knew about. They were made bi-weekly since January at least. This was the first time I'd received an email receipt. The bank is checking for any older transactions.
Each fraudulent transaction was for $49.90 and listed as the same Utah based merchant.
