Canceled order 3 times and was told it was canceled and it shipped anyway

I went onto Dell.com and ordered a laptop for myself. It was put on back order and I started to received recorded phone calls asking if I wanted to continue to wait for the item. I did want to wait as it was what I wanted. Then I received an email that my order had been canceled. I immediately called their customer service to have the order reinstated. They could not find my order in the system so after five calls I got someone who could reinstate the original order.

Once again it was on backorder and after several weeks I called to cancel it and was told that there was No order in their system under my name. This was verified by several people and was even told that I would receive a $150.00 credit on my DFS account for the inconvenience. I again stated that I no longer wanted the order and was just verifying that it was canceled.

Low and behold the day after my mother passed away I receive a bunch of boxes from Dell. I immediately contacted them to find out how to return the items. They give you a return number and where to ship from. Of course the UPS store in my area was not close and since you only have Five days in which to return it and I had a funeral going on and everything else I couldn't meet the deadline.

So after a month I opened the laptop and started using it and have been making the monthly payments. Actually, I have been paying well over what the payment is to be only to receive my statement this month and they charged my account $39 in late fees the day Before my payment was received. I immediately contacted them only to receive this in response.

Also be advised that as of today's date, your current account balance is $1253.15. Keep in mind, however, that because interest accrues on your account daily, you may have additional finance charges assessed on your next regular statement.

Kindly be advised as per your agreed terms and condition, "You promise to pay for all purchases charged to your Account plus any Finance Charge and any other charges that may be assessed as provided in this Agreement. You promise to pay at least the Total Minimum Payment due as shown on your billing statement each month by the Payment Due Date."

As such, any additional payment over your minimum amount due is not applied to a future statement. Rather, the additional payment received will be applied to the current balance on your account.

I guess Sam thinks that I'm Stupid because I know how to pay bills and am well aware that his company has failed repeatedly to fullfil anything that they have promised.

Their product is good but their company has a lot to be desired.
