Bad Customer Service, Poor Delivery, Closing of Accounts Without Warning Internet

I opened an account at PayLoadz to facilitate digital product sales on my web sites. Their terms looked good, and their system seemed an easy one to follow.

My first problem was when customers started complaining that the download links for the products they'd paid for didn't work. I checked, and discovered that some files I'd uploaded had never been moved to a delivery server, which is something the PayLoadz system is supposed to do automatically. I emailed PayLoadz customer support, and recevied a surly answer the following day, demanding more information. I sent it, and received a curt reply the next day that the problem had been fixed&no apology, no explanation, no instructions on how this problem might be prevented in the future.

After about a month, I received an email from one of my regular customers telling me that when she placed digital items in her shopping cart, she got a phishing warning on the PayLoadz address from her security system. Then I received the same complaint from a second customer, and a third. I could not replicate this, so I emailed PayLoadz support again, forwarding my customer emails, and asking them to look into it.

The first response, received two days later, was "it's your customer that's the problem, not our system". I persisted, saying that this was a genuine concern, and that I'd had three complaints about exactly the same thing. Surely, any reputable business would want to check into this&perhaps ask what firewall, anti-virus, browser, etc they were using so they could be tested? Nope. The folks at PayLoadz asked for none of that information&they simply couldn't be bothered.

The next response I received was "you are the only person who has ever complained about this". Since the bulk of my sales comes in tangible goods, and digital items are an add-on to my business, I decided that I'd change providers&I can't afford to lose sales over a percieved security issue. I thanked the no-name support person at PayLoadz, and let them know that I'd be migrating my files to another service shortly, because if my customers are concerned about security, I have to take it seriously.

Their response was to delete my account without any warning, leaving me with dozens of links to digital files broken, and some very unhappy customers unable to retrieve the files they'd paid for.

When I emailed asking for an explanation, they claimed that what I'd written was defamatory and threatening, and under their terms of service, they could terminate my account any time they wished.

I paid this company 15% of my digital sales, and for that I received poor customer service, virtually non-existant support, and a host of problems.

Avoid this company at all costs.
