At least one prior report complains of 'automated' emails and contacts.
It appears that few, if any read the 'terms and conditions' of this website which features 'OC's[online cupids] - this persona experienced 10-15 emails per day, ALL 'OC' - the terms and conditions affirm that the 'OC's
are 'fake' and that multiple 'handles' with the same picture may be used.
In addition, this persona also, when paying for a membership to test system, found the emails STOPPED.
There are other problems with this site -
~ Many of the PROFILES are FAKE[not 'OC's] with fake pictures - have seen same pix on other sites and have had PROFILE persons admit the photos were fake
~ Emails are supposed to be kept for 30 days unless 'stored' - emails for this persona were only kept for 9-10 days and disappeared ~ 'RECENT VISITORS TO PROFILE' never has worked properly
~ Persons sending emails have repeatedly complained of lost emails, emails never received, etc, etc - the email server appears to be very poor or badly maintained~ There appears to be a connection between this site and WEBCAM.com - this persona constantly receives IM from alleged 'members' located in the Phillipines, many admitting they are 'fakes' [profiles, pixs, etc] and WEBCAM.com has misbilled repeatedly to credit card info which had to be cancelled and reported although charges were not authorized - IM contacts appeared to be 'in on hustle' triggering multiple charges Credit Card billings are credited to accounts in ISRAEL - many credit cards will not process 'foreign charges'
~ CUSTOMER SERVICE is outsourced to an outfit in California that infers they are the company until they get in a bind and then admit the website company is overseas
The general operation and demeanor of this site does not foster any confidence in it's integrity or realiability of information. Glowing testimontials on the initial 'JOIN' page are probably less that genuine
or fake. Further, on the same PAGE, pix appearing at the right side are often known fakes, no longer in the database, or are the 'OC' characters which are represented 'fakes', impersonations. There is some evidence that people's pictures RECORDED in legitimate PROFILES may be later used in fraudulent PROFILES when the original person leaves the site. That also is found in the terms and condition which noone ever reads -
IT IS NOT PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED OR DISCLOSED IN REAL
GOOD FAITH.
