Altech computers distribute faulty AN8 Abit main boards. The main boards have components that are placed where they can be damaged by other components in a computer case.
In my case a main board component worth a little over $3.00 was damaged beyond repair by inserting a DVD Optical drive into the computers front drive bay section.
I was told by their service that the board would not be returned for repair as the warranty had expired.
