NeedA.com, Kelly Britt CEO
You Don't NeedA.com or Hosting With This Company!

I am a webdesigner and chose 1FastHost for my hosting needs of 10 accounts.

I was a client with 1FastHost for 3-4 years and never had a problem. When I received a "strange" email (Aug. 07) that didn't look correct, I directed a reply awaiting response that would perhaps alert support of possibly tampering or phising.

The next thing I knew an email arrived "your new account". I still thought it suspicious. Late Sept.'07 I placed an ad with local directory in hopes of encouraging new client growth. After 2-3 days my hit counter had over 300 page visits.

When I visited my site a few days later... Oh My Goodness: It Read "Page Not Found" and I screamed!!!

I quickly typed in ALL my website domain names (clients) included. YIPES, they were gone also!

When I hit the dial to contact 1FastHost, their number was no longer in existence. What? They've hit my bank account with no problem!

I went online, looked at account and discovered 1.800 and immediately dialed. I queried if this was 1FastHost new number. I was told NeedA.com had purchased the company.

I was not alerted to "Changing Hands", "No New Policy", "No Hosting Rules, Regulations", etc. Just an email that said your "new account".

When contacting the morans/idiots that work as "Support Techs" from September until mid-November, no one seemed to know what had happened. Finally trying again, a tech stated "OH, we found your files... They were on a DEAD Server."

I received an email with NEW host servers... Again, no one has explained anything, no apologies, no reimbursement for lost traffic from placed ad.

Another tech support suggested I fax documents showing WHAT accounts I had on my account and they would place them back. I delivered via fax, 38 pages... When I called tech support, they confirmed they had received all 38 pages.

Flip the page... New scene: I contacted Tech Support to ask how to upload my accounts again. They soon discovered that I had 10 accounts all under my hosting account. NEW To Me, "Oh, NeedA.com doesn't allow individual domains stacked like you had in past. You must host each account individually".

In other words, Needa.com doesn't allow pointed domains. 1FastHost set it up this way and now the "new kid on the block" had new rules. No one told me about this until NOVEMBER!!! This really pissed me off.

I have demanded via Certified Mail, an apology, upgrade of account for 6 months with monthly charge remaining at $14.95 instead of next level charge $24.95. No signed certified has returned in my mailbox.

Again, Changing Hands", "No New Policy", "No Hosting Rules, Regulations", etc. My church Youth site, client's literary site, my 8 sites finito!

Tech gave mumbled something about "You can establish a C-Name in your plesk account." I told him to send me step-by-step instructions. Never got those "step-by-step" instructions. It seems ANY verbal conversations laced with promises seem to dissipate.

Okay. Check this out: Another email arrived stating "what you could try doing is create the sub-domains and then add the real domain as a Cname to that subdomain. This would allow you to have different sub-folders for each fo the sites. Other option: add the domains to your client as separate hosting accouns and logins. Let me know which way you would like to proceed. Anthony M".

Alrighty... I'm already pissed no one has any answers, pissed that one tech 2 weekends ago stated, "I'm taking notes and will pass along"... I cut him short. "Hey let me get back with you. I'll try to trace nameservers or something that will tell me where my files are."

Sure enough located nameservers, called and got same tech support guy. Guess what he asked me?"Oh you found them. Those nameservers do not show on our system. What are they?" At that point CLICK went the phone.

When I directed email to Tech Support (each time you form a new ticket or try desperately to tag all responses under same ticket number) requesting the C-name thing, they had the nerve to say they were waiting on me!

Now "Anthony M" tech support guy send an email that said, "If you login to your account, you can login to your Plesk Account, click on the Subdomains icon.in there create the sub-domains for each domain that you want. Then, you wold go to, DNS Settings. There you would create a Cname for each of those domains, so that they would point to the subdomain. You would then have to change the DNS servers to have the same as (my site name).

I had already asked the tech support to send me the instructions. Okay here's the most infuriating part of all from email:

"Thank you for getting back with us. We have been waiting on your response to our last question on 11/09. There are 2 ways to accomplish what you would like to do, setup sub-domains and have the domain name point to that subdomain on your account. The other method is to have hosting accounts setup separately for each domain. We had asked you which method you would like to choose from, so that we could give you more details on how to do it. I hve pasted a copy of my last reply to you in ticket."

Okay I followed instructions about going inside my Plesk Account. When I clicked Subdomain icon... GUESS WHAT??? I received Error: Permission Denied.

To make matters worst, I dialed the company's number today (Sat. 12/01/07) at least 8 times. Each dial gave me a dead tone, a recording welcome to, a fax tone, a dead tone, a welcome to, a hang-up, blank sound, and welcome to that ended with click-click followed by ringing sounds only to have the familiar "If you wish to contact this number, you must included the correct area code."

How Do I Sue This Company For The WORST, I mean Worst Customer Service, Tech Support and Improper Operation of a Hosting Company In The World??? I thought AOL was impossible, arrogant and simply crazy but my friends I'm afraid NeedA.com has surpassed all my nightmares forever.
