I bought some movie tickets at FANDANGO (first and LAST time). I was offered a $10 dollar coupon off my next ticket purchase which I accepted.
Apparently there was some fine print on the popup that you are supposed to read that authorizes them to give your credit info to WLI!
My credit card number was transferred without my knowledge to WLI for a 'membership' in two clubs (RESERVATION REWARDS and SHOPPER DISCOUNT) and they charged me $20 a month!
I noticed the charges after 3 months and phoned them to cancel my account.
WLI said they would refund the latest charges (no mention of the other charges I already paid).
I also called Fandango to ask for an explanation. They are obviously aware that this is going on as the customer support person had a pat answer down already. They tried to tell me that I should have read the fine print. I told them that they had no right to transfer my credit card info to another site.in my opinion, both of these companies are scamming their customers and should be avoided.
