I decided to look into purchasing a website and found Ceyhun Karabagli website at www.jkaygfx.com. I sent an email to get a quote and i was quoted at $500-700 for website design and coding. I was pleased with the quote and decided to go with him. He told me he required a 50% deposit before he could start. This quote was for 3 t-shirt designs, a myspace design, a website design, logo, and a splash page.
I went ahead and sent $300. A few days went by and he keep giving me an excuse that he was too busy. Weeks went by with no progress. One day he came online and sent me a preview, not much done though. He told me i needed to send more money. I sent another $300 and again time passed by with no progress. Then he gets on and tells me the price for the design is going to be around $800 and the coding is going to be $500. The original quote of $500-700 is not $1300.
I am this far into it i decide to send him $300 more so he will finish the website. Months go by without a website. He eventually sends me a poorly designed website, logo and a splash page and tells me he will do the myspace and tshirts next. I was very disappointed with the website and i told him i wanted him to redo it. He refused and said thats what you get.
Now many months have gone by and still do not have the website i paid for, the myspace design, any coding which was originally quoted, and no t-shirt designs. I keep contacting him but he says he is too busy to start.in the middle of all this i got him a job for $300. I recieved the money from the new job through paypal and i sent it to Ceyhun's coder through paypal because Ceyhun owed him money. JJ never completed the job and told the guy thanks for the money.
In return the client got a refund in paypal so i lost $300. I called Ceyhun up and told him to pay me the $300. He said he would as soon as he got his pay check. Once again, i have not received any money and now he refuses to pay me. We also had a Non Disclosure Agreement and he broke that as well.
