I was outraged that I was unable to utilize the services and information claims made by Net Detective. It was a total rip off! This site made bogus claims that customer would be able to find lots of civil or criminal information about people on its site. NOT! I could barely find my own name and address and I know that already.
But that was all it provided, names and addresses of people who I didn't know and didn't care to know. The individuals I tried to find weren't even listed. And if there was a name match (it was the wrong address), however, in order for me to find out more about that individual's criminal history/information, the site would foward me to a error message or asked for more money, which was a total surprise for me because the site claims made me believe that any and all of the information (criminal or not) collected on people was already paid for by the initial fee.
This website only listed "addresses" for the membership fee. I already knew the addresses and phone numbers, and even if I didn't know that information, I know how to get it free @ the local library. This site should be condemmed, shut down, taken off the internet immediately to avoid others getting ripped off too, and the site owners need to be criminally charged. Members should be able to sue and/or get their money back!
