I had a 1 year subscription to classmates.com and chose not to renew. That subscription expired with no problem. Later, I decided to re-subscribe for the '3-month' subcription, however, instead of it expiring, they re-charged my credit card without my knowledge. NOWHERE was it stated that this was an automatically-renewing subscription.
Also, during my first subscription, a message intended for a private e-mail to an individual was posted on the public message board, and resulted in nearly costing me my job. The topper now is that the website is unavailable and "updating" for several weeks now. There is no way to contact them to find out what they intend to do about this fraudulent activity.
