In kahoots with time warner cable the direct marketing association 'thinks' they can charge consumers a dollar to remove from mailing lists.
FACTS OF THE MATTER:
RECEIVED JUNK MAIL FROM TIME WARNER CABLE. Called them to get my address removed from their mailing list. Time Warner said, if I want to be removed from the mailing list, it is up to me to remove my name from the Direct Marketing Association.
My reply to Time Warner: NO! A RESOUNDING NO.
If it becomes necessary to stop the mailings from Time Warner, I will sue TIME WARNER to the tune of one dollar plus court costs and related costs — AND THEN TIME WARNER CAN REIMBURSE ME FOR THE COST OF GETTING OF THAT MAILING LIST.
Recommendation: everyone reading this should also sue time warner cable for the same issue — cost to remove from the mailing list.
Opinion: direct marketing association is managed by trailer trash!
