I was trying to sell my car on cars.com. I recieved a phone call from Kelly Peters stating that she would like to help me sell my car and that she had potential buyers interested in buying for more than my asking price.
I asked her how this is possible and she came up with some story about finance companies and people with bad credit having to pay more. I told her I would think about it and review her website. The website appeared legit and even had a 30 day money back garauntee. I emailed her and questioned her several times about how the process works she replied to my calls and emails promptly. I decided to go with her service.
A few weeks later I emailed her to get an update on why I had not been contacted by anyone. No response. I then called her. Her voice mail box was full. I emailed a few more times with the same result. I then decided to do further research and found that this was a complete scam. Since then, I have contacted my credit card company and had the charge removed.
