Technology 21 has Dominic DeSilver as Managing Director/owner, they sell an old racing program, which was sold previously under Global Racing Group, which was purchased from www.racemate.com.
Dominic infers that Technology 21 is a software house, supports the program, fixes faults in the program and has 400 happy customers and that the program works well. They have a slick web site, and the program has a slick look to it.
The program is slow, has alot of faults due to programming errors and has no DataBase as claimed by the company and Dominic DeSilver. The program sells for $10,000.00 with a laptop computer that has a HASP dongle for security.
The laptop is the cheapest on the market, the HASP key runs extreamly hot (may fail) costs $500.00 to replace, the screen is to small for serious use. The laptop will over heat if used in Australia wihout airconditioning.
The program sits ontop of a data engine that works very well and is supplied by subscription.com, and allows Dominic not to bother with anything after he has sold you the program. This shows he's not really into software, not into supporting the program, as is the number of faults in the program.
The www.racemate.com software, the new one (they sold the old one that scrapped teletext data to Dominic) has a Database, costs $3500 and you can place bets at three TAB's at once. Its cheaper, faster, has a database, and runs well according to the site and looks so similar it could be the same and has more features.
If you ask for a refund due to misleading comments or mal software from Technology 21 the response will be to threaten you with legal action. The company is hard to return things to. I wounder why?
Technology 21 is not only a bad company to deal with they are grossly over priced, with a hacked old scraper program that they have running with a subscription.com data feed. Dominic DeSilver has a history of starting new companies, in reverse order Technology 21, Global Racing Group, Transdata, off Track.
Dominic DeSilver is alleged to have changed his name in about after the off track program was stopped by the court with a conviction against him in New Zealand.
Technology 21 is resident in New Zealand, seems to have an Australian company, however everyone is seemingly over in New Zealand. They go to great lengths to appear to be in Australia, I have enough evidence to believe other wise. Technology 21 seems not to like issuing receipts to you, and use an investment company to pay the money into in two equal amounts two days apart.
