I was conned by this so called company, before i knew anything about affiliate programs and how they worked.
After being conned into monthly charges on my credit card and initial startup fees, and then the real big one, the great so called advertising. While i was seeing absolutely no results from this so called home business. I got curious and started doing some reasearch.
They claim that thru their so called affiliate programs i could be making a good amount of money on a monthly basis, by signing up with them, and paying them money for hosting and a so called website etc. I would be paid monthly by getting people to sign up for satellite systems thru direct tv and dish network.
I in return would earn a commission on these sales. Yeah it sounds real good at the time of the initial phone call. All the visions they put in your head, and all the so called money you can be making with in a matter of months, yada, yada, yada!
Yeah, the services they are offering, i could have gotten for myself for free if i would have known about affilliate programs prior to their call. You see after a few months with no commission, not even 1 sale. After i supposably had over 7,000 visitors, on each site, i had 2 of them. I made not even 1 sale... Seems a little unbelievable doesn't it? So that got me wondering and worried as well.
I began researching affiliate programs and how they worked, and signed up for some along the way... But they are free. You the consumer does not pay to be an affiliate. They pay you in return for linking to them thru your link or banner with your id number in it.
So, usoag is basically conning people into giving them money to host a bogus website and and charge a monthly fee and charge for advertising, when in all reality i can go out and do all of it for free.
They offer no refunds on advertising, probably because they know they are doing fraudulent business... And they try and suck you in for a full year as well. They get you to buy the combined site that compares 2 sites side by side, yeah... It is down right demeaning, and i can't believe they are getting away with it.
I am trying to get my money back and i have filed complaints with the bbb.org, the FTC, and the attorney generals in their state and mine as well, and i am trying to on my credit card as well... I am having a bit of a problem with my credit card though.
Now i can't even afford the monthly payments on my credit card bill because i was given the false hopes of thinking i'd be making enough money in the months to come ahead of me to cover those payments. Boy was i ever a fool!
I don't get how and why so many companies are out to do this to people just looking for something legit to do from their homes, so they can be with their children and family. It is not right, and something needs to be done!!!
If anyone calls you and tells you about a great home business by being an affiliate of some company, hang up on them, because you don't need the fraudulent help they are trying to suck you into! Affiliate programs are free, they pay you!!!
