Purchased SSL certificate from GoDaddy. Could not install the certificate correctly. Contacted Godaddy for support, they referred me to another Godaddy e-mail address to contact. Contacted them, they kept giving us scripted answers, would not provide us with a solution. Now they want a $15 "administration charge" to give us a refund of a $20 product.
Sounds a little funny doesn't it? They also hold customers financial information hostage. Anytime you purchase a product with Godaddy or any Wild West Domains affiliate you have the auto-renew option. Of course everyone would probably select no as we did.
However sure enough when you look at your account YES is always checked in for auto-renew. They won't let you remove your payment information from their system, they hold your information hostage so that they can charge you over and over again.
Bad company to do business with. We've tried numerous times to resolve issues with them, this is the last straw. We own over 40 domains with godaddy and this is how we're treated. The owner Bob Parsons is always crying on his blog about domains being illegally purchased and "stolen". I purchased each of my domains legally for at least $9.00 each and this is how im treated. Take your $15 administrative fee to the bank Bob, you'll be getting a chargeback from me.
