I was supposed to have been given a gift card for Christmas, but between receiving the gift card and wrapping it the person giving it to me lost the actual card, but on the TigerDirect website checkout it says a person can use the Order ID for the gift card.

I had the Order ID and tried using it on the website, but it did not accept it and instead charged the entire order, not just the additional amount not covered by the gift card, to my personal credit card. The invoice did not mention the gift card, so I called in to verify the facts of the order, and was on hold for four hours to get into contact with customer support. I was informed that the gift card was not processed, and contradictory to their website that it will not accept the Order ID for a gift card. I then asked if I could be sent a replacement card, but was informed that I would need to call back the next day when a manager was in.

I had the card-giver call the next day, and after three hours of waiting they were able to request a replacement gift card. It did not require a manager at all. To receive the replacement card, it is going to take two weeks; two weeks to process a gift card and stick it in the mail.
