I purchased a leather jacket for my son on line from Urbanq.com on Mar. 1. The website advertised a 100% rebate. I put the jacket up for Christmas and did not realize I had not received my rebate until November when I started getting ready for Christmas gifts. I emailed the site to explain the problem.
They said I did not complete all the steps I was suppose to in order to receive the rebate. I alledgely left off the promotion code which should have been on the envelope sent to them. On Dec. 24, Urbanq agreed (as a customer service) they would send forms to me so I could resubmit the request. I completed the forms on April 22 and sent them a check for $10.00 for required processing fees. Urbanq sent an email to me stating they had received the forms and check and would be processing the request. I cannot remember the date but I have the emails to prove what I have written.
I have written emails too numereous to mention. Each time, I get a form-reply stating that they are backlogged on business because they are trying something new.
On May 2, I wrote them to say that I was filing a complaint with the NY BBB, which I did. The BBB notified me to say that they processed my complaint but Ubanz.com did not respond and there was nothing else they could do. I am very angry for being ignored, lied to, spent 10.00 to refile for rebate and I also need my 99.99. I would not ever have bought a $100.00 jacket if I thought for one minute I was not going to receive the rebate.
