Theft of credit card information Largo Maryland

On 12/15/06, I called wirefly.com to inquire about some of their plans. I was told of some great rates and ordered my phones at that time. About an hour later a representative from wirefly called me back to verify my information for shipping. I was reluctant to give him my credit card number but he had my confirmation numbers, my phone numbers and all other information.
I gave him the information and waited for my phones.

On 12/18/06, I found that my account was overdrawn due to several charges I did not make. I called one of them and they played the recording that the individual who used my card authorized my number. It was the same voice that I had talked to on 12/15/06 to confirm my order.

I cancelled my card and filed a police report. I also started looking into Inphonics and found David Steinberg's number. He returned my call and stated he would look into it and let me know what he found. I have not heard from him today. It seems that my number was sold by a wirefly employee to another individual who used it on the internet.

I called the number he used to verify one of his purchases and it was a man from Kentucky who was given a forged cashiers check for 26,000 dollars for a concession trailer he was selling on the internet. The FBI has the report on that transaction.

I hope wirefly contacts me and tries to make things right but I don't expect it to happen any time soon without legal counsel.
