Unethical business practice for online job application Ripoff

I applied with toy r us online they asked my date of birth my ss# and if i was a criminal or on welfare did i get WIC did i receive food stamps I have a BS. Degree in Human Resouce mgt. And was refused a job interview for Human Resouce Asst.

I think these hiring practices go completely unrestricted and are in voilation of labor laws
